Inputting/accepting electronic absence note for a future date

If the class teacher has enabled electronic absence notes, the parents can input electronic absence note as soon as they realize their child will be absent. For example: Student Adam Benko will be absent on the 24th January due to planned doctor's appointment. The parents can input the absence note for that date in advance in december.

The teacher receives a notification about a pending absence note. They do not have to wait until the stated date of absence to accept the absence note. The absence note can be accepted immediately.

Later, when the teachers record the student's absence in the class register on that day,

it will be automatically excused, based on the already accepted absence note.
