How to award the students extra points for active participation in the lesson

To evaluate the students' activity in the lesson with extra points, select evaluation type "Points" in the Grade book. Set the maximum number of points to 0.

All points awarded to students will be counted as extra points.

Use the same pattern for awarding negative points (for passivity).
